At 20:00 on January 6th, local time, the 4# blast furnace of Hefa Rongju Iron and Steel in Vietnam ignited and sent air, and iron was successfully tapped on January 7. So far, TSIC designed the Fongju 4×1080 m3 blast furnace project to put into production, TSIC creating new achievements for serving the construction of the “Belt and Road”.
TSIC signed the plant design contract for this project in October 2017. During the critical period of project implementation, the global new crown epidemic swept across the world. TSIC project team actively responded to the new situation, rigorously planned, overcome difficulties, and made every effort to ensure the project progressed in an orderly and steady manner. After nearly 800 days and nights of hard work, the four blast furnaces have all been put into operation on schedule, operating stably, and successfully achieving the goals of high-quality, low-cost, and fast-paced construction.
In the ten-year cooperation with Vietnam Hefa Iron and Steel Group, TSIC has undertaken more than ten engineering design tasks, such as the first phase of new hot blast furnace and blast furnace transformation project, the second phase of 500,000 tons of ironmaking project, the third phase of 700,000 tons of ironmaking project, and rongju 4×1080m3 blast furnace project. TSIC has established a close partnership of mutual respect, mutual trust, mutual benefit and win-win with Hefa Group by virtue of its excellent technical level and 'ownership' service consciousness. And at the same time strong rise the level of Hefa Group in the industrial sector in Vietnam. With the in-depth advancement of the “Belt and Road” construction in countries along the route, TSIC and overseas steel companies have a broader space for cooperation and a firmer will to cooperate. TSIC will continue to carry forward the enterprise spirit of 'realizing customer needs with a sense of 'ownership'' and continue to provide high-quality services to customers around the world with advanced technical strength and engineering management.
