The No. 1 Steel Rolling Plant is the main production company of HBIS Tangsteel. It has three 150-ton top and top-bottom blowing converters and three LF refining furnaces, one RH vacuum refining furnace. The continuous casting system consists of four continuous casting machines. And the rolling mill system consists of It is composed of 1810 production line, 1700 production line and two leveling production lines. The annual design production capacity is 5 million tons. The nominal width of the coil is 850~1680mm and the thickness is 0.8~12.7mm.

The No. 1 Steel Rolling Plant has advanced production technology, including automatic converter steelmaking, thin slab continuous casting and rolling, ferrite rolling technology, semi-endless rolling technology, etc. The maximum casting speed of the 1810 continuous casting machine can reach 6m/ min, can produce 1.2mm thick hot-rolled coils on a large scale and 1.0mm thick coils in small batches. Some products can be replaced by heat instead of cold, reaching the leading level in the industry. It produces high-grade steel such as deep-drawing automotive plates, silicon steel, high-carbon steel and pipeline steel. The products cover more than 80 steel grades, which are widely used in machinery manufacturing, steel structures, oil pipelines, automobile beams, containers, motors, saw blades, and chains. In addition to the domestic market, the products are also exported to Europe, South America, the Middle East, East Asia, Southeast Asia and other foreign markets.
